Godox has announced the second generation of its flagship outdoor strobe, the AD600Pro II. This all-in-one lighting solution boasts a powerful 600W output with significant improvements in flash duration, output range, design, and control functions. The user experience has been notably enhanced with features like One-Tap Sync with Godox’s new X3 Trigger, a colour-optimised screen, a 40W bi-colour modelling light, and an improved group identification indicator.

Power and Precision

As Godox’s most powerful outdoor strobe, the AD600Pro II offers a host of improvements in speed and runtime. The strobe’s ten-step, 600Ws output now includes recycle times as low as 0.01 seconds and flash durations as short as 1/11760 seconds in regular mode. For high-speed action, the strobe supports High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000 seconds and features a Freeze Mode with ultra-short flash durations of up to 1/20400 seconds. Output is fine-tunable in ten steps up to 1/512, and the lithium battery pack is rated for 360 full-power flashes on a full charge. Additionally, users can run the light on AC power with an optional adapter.

Innovative One-Tap Sync

The AD600Pro II is optimized to work with Godox’s X3 Touchscreen TTL Wireless Flash Trigger. Its One-Tap Sync feature allows for near-instant synchronization and reduced startup times on set. The strobe is also compatible with older Godox triggers like the XproII and X2T, offering flexibility for various setups. It features upgrades in flash duration, battery life, and a wider output range. The strobe’s recycle time ranges from 0.01 to 0.9 seconds, and it supports High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000 seconds.

Enhanced User Interface

The strobe’s screen and menu system have been redesigned based on user feedback to maximize ease of use. The new TFT LCD screen features vibrant colors and supports Godox’s new RGB Color Identification system. This system assigns each of the 16 supported groups its own color, displayed locally on the flash head for easy identification even from a distance. The screen also includes easily accessible on/off and modeling light buttons for intuitive control.

Wide Compatibility and Accessories

Built to integrate seamlessly with the Godox 2.4G Wireless System, the AD600Pro II is compatible with TTL auto flash systems across multiple camera brands, including Canon E-TTLII, Nikon i-TTL, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic, FUJIFILM, Pentax, and Leica. A wide range of accessories is available separately to enhance the functionality and flexibility of the lights, such as an extension head with a 6.6′ wire, an AC power adapter, and a USB battery smart charger.

With the upgraded 16 groups, each represented by a different color displayed on both the flash unit and the X3 trigger, managing multi-light setups and long-distance shooting scenarios becomes effortless.

The AD600Pro II can use the AC26 as its AC power source, providing continuous and stable power output during photo shoots and eliminating concerns about battery levels and replacements.

Smart Battery Charging

Charge smarter and faster with the Godox UC46 USB Charger. This charger efficiently recharges replaceable lithium battery packs for the AD600Pro II, 400 Pro, and 600 Series, protecting the cells from overcharging. The charger’s LCD monitors progress individually and shows the battery level and user priority sequence.
