Travel vlogger, Drew Binsky recently came across an older photographer named Haji Meerzaman, who is the last remaining person in the country (and likely the world) who still uses this ancient box camera to take portraits. In this 9-minute vlog, Binsky tells the story of Haji and how he has been shooting for 65 years in Kabul, Afghanistan, using a 100-year-old box camera.
“This vintage device is over 100 years old and it was just FASCINATING to get my portrait taken — it was like straight out of a movie!”
