Canon just dropped the EOS R6 Mark III, and it’s an absolute monster of a hybrid camera, packed with high-end video specs and blazing-fast photo features. With a new 32.5MP full-frame sensor, it delivers a 34% resolution boost over the R6 Mark II, and supports up to 40 fps continuous shooting with electronic shutter. Pre-continuous capture adds 20 frames before the shutter press, ideal for fast-moving subjects. This camera is built to capture fast action and unpredictable moments with precision.

Video capabilities are extensive. The R6 Mark III records 7K RAW internally at 60p and supports external 7K ProRes RAW at 30p. Canon Log 2 and custom LUT support allow for professional color grading workflows.
Autofocus is powered by Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with people, animal, and vehicle detection. New features include Register People Priority, custom AF presets, and focus recall buttons—useful for wildlife and sports. Movie Servo AF algorithms from Canon’s cinema line improve focus transitions during video recording.
The camera supports one CFexpress Type B and one UHS-II SD card, enabling high-speed capture and extended recording. Up to 8TB CFexpress cards are supported. In-body image stabilization offers up to 8.5 stops of shake correction, with coordinated lens stabilization for compatible optics.
