Remember the game-changer that was Zoom’s original H Series? You know, the ones that revolutionized portable audio recording for everyday creators? Well, hold onto your mics, because Zoom just dropped three new models that rewrite the rules all over again: the H1essential, H4essential, and H6essential.
32-Bit Float Recording: A Game Changer
The Essential Series introduces 32-bit float recording. This technology ensures a massive dynamic range, eliminating worries about input levels. Easily rescue digitally clipped signals or normalize low-volume recordings without added noise. With microSDXC support up to 1TB, recording has never been more stress-free.
Zoom H6essential: The Flagship
Leading the pack is the H6essential, a recording powerhouse with 6 tracks of 32-bit float recording. Boasting exceptional quality and versatility, it’s perfect for musicians, filmmakers, and podcasters seeking broadcast-quality recordings.
Accessibility for All
Zoom prioritizes accessibility with audible assistance in English, Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Italian, or Chinese, aiding visually impaired users in navigating menus and settings seamlessly.
Three Models, Infinite Possibilities
H1essential: The pocket powerhouse. This tiny wonder boasts a built-in X/Y mic array for stereo recording, plus a 3.5mm input for lavalier mics or line sources. Perfect for musicians, podcasters, and filmmakers on the go.
H4essential: Level up your game with four tracks of 32-bit float recording and an upgraded X/Y mic array that handles up to 130 dB SPL (think rock concert loud!). Two XLR/TRS inputs let you mic instruments or connect professional gear. Ideal for musicians, podcasters, and anyone who needs more recording flexibility.
H6essential: The flagship. Six glorious tracks, a modular microphone system (swap that X/Y for a shotgun mic or XLR inputs!), and XLR preamps that can handle thunderous 135 dB SPL (a jet taking off!). This is the ultimate studio in your backpack, for musicians, filmmakers, and serious podcasters.
